The Situation

Farlington is an independent girls’ day and boarding school, providing exceptional, all-round education for girls aged 4 – 18, set on the Sussex/Surrey border. The Orchard Nursery offers a caring and fun-filled early years programme for boys and girls aged 3 – 4.

Farlington approached us to bring the school up-to-date with a new website, including a new brand identity, photography, videography, copywriting and ongoing social media marketing management.

The Solution

We held a series of workshops with staff, parents, governors and pupils to build a detailed picture of the school and its aspirations.  We then developed a new logo and brand to represent their unique balance of tradition and history with modernity; a tailored education for each individual girl in the 21st century.  We filmed and photographed the school to provide a library of moving and static imagery for ongoing marketing use, as well as for the new website.  We were also responsible for the website’s extensive copywriting.

The website was designed and built to be easy to navigate, without compromising functionality and to cater for all key stakeholders: parents, prospective parents, staff, pupils and governors.  It is designed to carry all essential information whilst giving a taste of the school itself, inviting prospective parents to find out more.

On an ongoing basis we provide the marketing services for the school, including digital and social media management.

The Outcome

Over our first year of working with Farlington, we have dramatically increased the number of enquiries and visits from potential parents. The website launch has been met with appreciation and excitement by all parties. Social media followers have increased significantly and posts gain wide levels of engagement, as well as driving website traffic.
