Social Media Marketing / PR

“Bespoke School Websites have been fantastic at working with us to really get under the skin of our educational approach and understand our audience of parents and educational professionals.

They have made extraordinary effort to tailor the materials and articles they promote on our page to best reflect our vision and ethos.

This has had a direct impact on the growth of our professional training school and we have attracted many national and  international paying visitors as a result”

The Situation

Little Barn Owls Nursery & Farm School is an outstanding nursery based in West Sussex that follows an enquiry based learning approach. They came to us to identify a social media strategy that would increase awareness of their work within the Early Years environment as well as manage their social media ongoing. The nursery also solicited our PR services for a one off project.

The Solution

We work closely with the owner and the team at the nursery to create exceptional content which we then publish on Facebook, a platform best suited for their industry. We have built close relationships with the staff and have explained the importance of them feeding through strong imagery alongside their words. We produce videos, slideshows and eye catching graphics with the content and regularly share and celebrate with the staff when their content has performed particularly well. We also spend time building relationships with other influential Early Years pages who in turn share our content among their own followers.

The Outcome

Over the 2 years we have been managing Little Barn Owls social media, their Facebook following has increased from 400 to almost 5000, with some posts reaching 20,000 news feeds globally. The nursery was awarded the prestigious UK Nursery of the Year 2015/16 by Nursery World of which their social media was taken into consideration. We have run a number of campaigns for the nursery, the most recent being Facebook advertising for new staff. The owner reported back that this campaign reaped far more enquiries than the largest online recruitment website.

The PR project we ran for the nursery was particularly successful with widespread coverage of the Nursery’s award win across numerous publications .
